Automatic cathodic protection transformer rectifiers Don of the UKZT-AU-OPE TM-GSM N1 series, equipped with a analogue control block, are manufactured according to TU 3415-003-27191815-94 and are designed to protect underground metal structures (pipelines) from electrochemical corrosion using the cathodic polarization method, including in areas affected by stray currents. The CP TRs of this modification, built on simple technical solutions, have basic functional capabilities necessary and sufficient for implementing the tasks of electrochemical protection against corrosion under the control of an analog control unit in the basic configuration. In the cathodic protection rectifiers of this modification, the principles of compatibility of switching connections, element base, main blocks and design units with the oldes modifications of the "Don" and "UKZT" family of cathodic protection rectifiers are traditionally observed, which ensures a high degree of maintainability and practically unlimited possibilities for expanding the functionality of the devices. In addition to the basic equipment, these rectifiers can be supplied in various configurations for personal requirements. The serial nominal power range of produced CP TRs: 0.3; 0.6; 1.2; 2.0; 3.0 and 5.0 kW.

Work modes (basic functions)
— manual setting of voltage and current values on the CP TR output without automatic maintenance; — automatic maintenance of a given value of protective potential on a structure; — automatic maintenance of a given value of output (protective) current;
— operation in doubling output voltage mode (switching to double voltage mode is done manually, by switching the secondary windings of the power transformer. For this mode accordable value of the output current is no more than 0,5 Inom).
Configuration options
Basic package: — The control unit is an analog electronic board type "A"; A set of flexible connecting cables for connecting the power supply network and load connections inside the pedestal. "KF" package : — Basic package + integrated smoothing filter FPP-1 for CP TR with a nominal power of up to 3.0 kW inclusive (for CP TR with a nominal power of 5.0 kW, the FPP-1 filter is supplied as an external unit installed under the cabinet base of the CP TR). This option made possible high efficiency in wide range work from 10 till 100% of nominal power. "K-WM" package (can be added to any package option): — + integrated electricity meter. "K-AG" package (can be added to any package option): — + integrated AG-1 acoustic repellent generator for protection against rodents and wasps. "K-MS" package (can be added to any package option): — + pedestal for installation of the CPTR in a field condition. "K-DCB" package (can be added to any package option): — In order to expand the automation functions and protect the CP TR from the effects of the external environment, the digital controller "KATRON-SKZ" or similar is used as a control unit, complete with the self-healed module for protecting the measurement and power supply circuits "BARRIER KATRON".
"K-CS" package: — an individual version of the delivery set, determined by the Customer, for the required tasks.
CP TR's design
— CP TR's cabinet made of 2 mm steel, painted with polymer powder paint, with two vandal-proof locking devices; — The CP TR's cabinet is equipped with folding handles for easy transportation; — the cabinet is equipped by rotating chassis, universal design, common to all modifications of the CP TRs, on which all the main elements are located (power transformer, choke, controls and electronics).
